Khronos Group宣布创建计算机视觉应用的跨平台加速开放、免版税标准的新计划。应成员们的要求和建议，Khronos已经建立了一个视觉工作小组，通过经证明成熟的Khronos开发流程进行硬件加速API的开发，目标是在12个月内完成第一次公开发布。我们欢迎任何感兴趣的公司加入Khronos，做出自己的贡献，引领规范的发展方向，并可以提早获得公开发布前的草拟规范。该视觉工作小组将于2012年1月开始工作。 更多

This all-day session will give you up-to-the-minute updates on OpenGL, OpenCL, and COLLADA; and handheld graphics standards such as OpenGL ES and OpenVG. Taipei Taiwan KITE 2012
Over the last few years of outreach to academia, the Khronos executive team have repeatedly heard requests for regional support to help standardize and localize Khronos educational efforts. In response to this demand, we have created KITE (Khronos Institute of Training and Education) Chapters. KITE chapters will provide a framework for localized leadership positions within the KITE program. We are now issuing a call for participation in search of Chapter leaders from the academic field, corporate sponsors, and others interested in supporting or leading the deployment of these regional groups.
